Billy Martin

Billy Martin has a strong background in information technology and security. Billy most recently served as the Chief Technology and Security Officer (CTSO) at Vigor, LLC starting in 2023. Prior to that, Billy worked at Momentus as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and VP of IT from 2021 to 2023. In this role, they implemented compliant integrated IT architecture and information security tools and programs. Billy was also responsible for migrating the enterprise from GSuite to Azure / O365 and AWS cloud computing.

Before joining Momentus, Billy was the CISO and Director of Cyber Operations at Aerojet Rocketdyne from 2018 to 2021. Billy led a team of IT and security personnel and successfully planned and executed multiple IT deployments. Billy also played a key role in modernizing IT architecture and securely migrating data to the Microsoft Azure GovCloud.

From 2013 to 2018, Billy worked at McAfee as the Director of IT Professional Services. Billy managed a nationally distributed organization and was responsible for delivering services to commercial and government customers. Billy also contributed to business development efforts, resulting in significant revenue growth.

Billy's experience also includes serving as the CISO at Health Net from 2011 to 2013, where they advised on IT security architecture and cyber risk. At CSC, Billy held various roles from 2005 to 2011, including Director of DoD Global Security Operations Center (SOC) and Senior IT and Information Security Consultant.

Earlier in their career, Billy worked at Northrop Grumman as an IT and security consultant and cyber analyst. Billy also had roles at NCI and the US Army, where they gained experience in information technology and signals intelligence analysis.
