Laura Hettinger is an experienced maritime professional with a strong background in engineering, planning, and operations management. Currently serving as Planning Manager and Ship Superintendent at Vigor, LLC since July 2017, Laura previously held the role of Navy Port Engineer at T-Solutions, Inc. from December 2012 to June 2017. Laura began their career as a Third Assistant Engineer with the Alaska Marine Highway System, where supervision of unlicensed assistants and plant operations on the Motor Vessel Columbia was key. Laura's expertise extends to the United States Coast Guard Reserve as Assistant Chief of Offshore Operations during the Gulf Oil Spill response and includes roles in contingency planning and maritime domain awareness. Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
