Paul O'Meara

Paul O'Meara has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and research industries. Paul is currently working as the Business Intelligence Lead at ViiV Healthcare since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Portfolio Performance Monitoring at ViiV Healthcare from October 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining ViiV Healthcare, Paul held a leadership position at Internet Brands, where they were the Global Head of Research and Insights for WebMD, Medscape, and Internet Brands. Paul was responsible for driving strategic insights across these well-known healthcare brands from an undisclosed date to October 2021.

From 2013 to 2020, Paul worked at Ipsos, where they had various roles. Paul was the Senior Vice President of Ipsos' Syndicated Research Portfolio from January 2016 to July 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Autoimmune Therapy Monitors from July 2013 to December 2015.

Paul'searlier experiences include working as the Director of New Product Development at Insight Research Group from August 2012 to July 2013, and as the Head of Syndicated Services and Oncology Asia Pacific at Ipsos Healthcare from February 2011 to June 2012.

Paul also has experience at Synovate Healthcare as an Associate Vice President, where they specialized in client servicing, business development, and expanding the autoimmune portfolio from September 2005 to May 2011.

In addition, they worked as a Research Fellow at Fujirebio Inc, conducting bioinformatics research in protein-protein interactions and identifying potential drug targets from January 2004 to November 2004.

Paul began their career as a New Technology Analyst Intern at Nature Publishing Group from October 2003 to January 2004.
