Kevin Nejad

Kevin Nejad is the CEO of Vijilan Security, LLC. Kevin has over 20 years of experience in the field of information security.

Nejad began their career as a network security and fraud analyst for Rogers Communications in 1996. Kevin then spent three years as an incident response and forensics analyst for Philip Morris International before joining Altria as a senior security data scientist in 2004.

In 2006, Nejad joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as an information security project manager. Kevin left HPE in 2008 to become the chief information security officer at White & Case LLP, where they worked until 2011.

In October 2011, Nejad founded Cyber Incident, a cybersecurity firm specializing in incident response and forensics. Kevin served as the company's CEO and chairman until it was acquired by Vijilan Security in 2014.

Kevin Nejad's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University, an Information Security degree from New York University, and a Business Analytics degree from The Wharton School. Kevin also holds certifications from Emeritus in Digital Transformation: Platform Strategies for Success, MIT Sloan Executive Education in Digital Transformation, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and BSI ISO 27001 Foundation - Information Security Certification.
