Throughout their career, Franc worked in various managerial and advisory positions for Akzo Nobel and Rijam/Van Rijmenam.

In 1980 to 1984, they attended the Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten St. Joost in Breda, where they focused on studying Fotografische en Audiovisuele Vormgeving, leading to an HBO degree. Later in 1988 to 1989, they pursued a Post HBO program in Project Manager / Media Manager, offered by MKN / Stichting De Baak.

Moving forward, in 2011 to 2012, Franc pursued a program in Bedrijfskunde (Business Administration) at ISBW, complementing their previous educational background. In 2016, they attended the Privacy Academie, completing a Basisopleiding Privacy & Dataprotection certification.

In 2017, Franc ventured into the field of data science and law by enrolling in a Masterclass in Data Science & Recht at the Jheronimus Academy of Data Science (JADS). Additionally, they pursued a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification through the IAPP in the same year. These educational endeavors demonstrate their dedication to continuously expanding their expertise and staying updated with the evolving industry standards.

Most recently, in 2018, Franc participated in a Leergang ISO 27001 program offered by the Stichting Nederlands Normalisatie Instituut, focusing on information security management.
