Michael Strei

Michael Strei has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michael started their career as an Engineering Intern at Hamilton Sundstrand in 2001. Michael then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University from 2003 to 2004. Michael joined ATK in 2004, where they held various roles including Nondestructive Test Engineer, Ares I-X Systems Engineer, Integration Project Design Engineer, and Project Engineer. In 2011, they transitioned to Viking Pump and took on the roles of Principal Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Manager. Currently, Michael is working at Viking Pump, Inc. as the Engineering Director, a position they have held since August 2017.

Michael Strei has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, which they completed between 1998 and 2002. Michael later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering Mechanics from the same institution from 2003 to 2004.
