Austin Swain

Austin Swain is a Design Engineer and Naval Architect at Viking Yacht Company since May 2017, responsible for propulsion system design, weight studies, and hull structure among other key tasks. Austin provides direct support for manufacturing issues across numerous yachts annually and has developed expertise in Autodesk Inventor for detailed design work. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology, focusing on data analysis and equipment calibration for marine model testing, and an internship at Viking Yacht Company. Austin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, earned in 2017. Additionally, Austin has previous experience as Head Lifeguard, teaching swim lessons and managing facility operations.
