Eric Dacus has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of product development and engineering. Eric is currently serving as the Director of New Product Introduction at Vilex, where they are responsible for enhancing collaboration with external R&D consultants and ensuring the capture of user needs and design intent. Prior to this, Eric worked as a Product Development Consultant at Eric Dacus Consulting, LLC, focusing on building products and systems for orthopedic joint replacement prosthesis. Eric also worked as part of the Research & Development team at Enztec and held various positions at Total Joint Orthopedics, including Vice President of Product Development, Director of Engineering, and Product Design Engineer. Additionally, Eric gained valuable experience as a Product Design Engineer at Amedica Corporation, a Research Assistant at the University of Utah, and a Design Engineer at Zeus Off-Road Engineering. Eric started their career with a product design intern role at Cole Engineering LLC and an engineering intern role at Solid Dynamics, where they worked on developing a prototype security pistol holster.

Eric Dacus has a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of Utah, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Their field of study during this time included Bioengineering, Medical Imaging, and Biomechanics. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas from 2000 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, they participated in the Stanford University Graduate School of Business program called "Managing Teams for Innovation and Success" through the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education.
