Scott Armacost has a strong and diverse work experience in the medical device industry. Scott is currently working at Vilex as the VP of OUS R&D. Scott previously held the role of R&D Director at Vilex and an Engineer position. Before joining Vilex, Scott worked at Stryker as a Principal Engineer. Prior to that, they spent a significant portion of their career at Wright Medical Technology as a Principal Engineer, where they specialized in the design, manufacture, and marketing of reconstructive joint devices and biologics. Scott also has experience in mechanical design engineering at Reliance Medical Products and product development engineering at Stant Corporation. Scott began their career at CAMACO, where they served as a Program Manager and Mechanical Engineer.
Scott Armacost obtained a B.S. degree in Zoology from Arkansas State University in 1994. Later, they earned another B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2000. Scott then pursued an MBA in Business Administration from Xavier University's Williams College of Business, completing their studies in 2010.
