Arkadi Schelling

Arkadi Schelling has a diverse work experience in machine learning and software engineering. Arkadi is currently working as a Software Engineer Machine Learning at vilisto GmbH since December 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Bremen from October 2017 to December 2019. Before that, they served as a Machine Learning Expert at predict.io from May 2016 to October 2017. Arkadi also worked at smartB Energy Management GmbH, where they held the roles of Machine Learning Expert from September 2015 to June 2016 and Student Developer from November 2014 to September 2015.

Arkadi Schelling attended The University of Freiburg from 2007 to 2014, where they obtained a Diploma (German M.Sc) in Mathematics and Slavistics. In 2014, they also completed the Applied Computer Science Summer School at the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'. Additionally, in 2011, they won first place in the "Chinese Bridge" - Germanwide Chinese Language Competition for Students, organized by Konfuzius-Institut Heidelberg. In 2010, they achieved a Chinese Proficiency Test, HSK Level 5 of 6, from the Confucius Institute Headquarters. Arkadi also holds an edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark, although the specific date of completion is not mentioned.
