Miguel Villarreal

Miguel Villarreal has extensive experience in the financial sector. Miguel began their career in 2006 as a Lead Network and VoIP Engineer at Calamos Investments, where they designed and built a data center for 24x7 financial operations and managed a 10gigabit enterprise campus environment and wireless connection to a DR/BC site. In 2007, they moved to Berbee as a Network Voice Engineer. In 2008, they took on a role as a Senior Design Network Engineer at Trading Technologies and a Consultant at Burwood Group. In 2010, they became a Lead Network Engineer at CME Group. In 2011, they joined Interactive Data as a Senior Sales Engineer, Technical SME, and Network Architect, where they provided pre-and post-sales technical support and technical expertise to customers and partners. Finally, in 2014, they founded Villa-Tech, Inc. and has served as its CEO/Founder since.

Miguel Villarreal has a diverse educational background. Miguel attended Judson University, where they studied Computer Science/Biblical Studies. Miguel then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) twice, once in 2014 for courses in Big Data and Social Physics and Tackling The Challenges of Big Data. In 2018, they attended MIT Sloan School of Management for a course in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy.
