Tony Sofio

Tony Sofio has extensive experience in the banking industry, spanning over two decades. Tony'smost recent role was as a VP Commercial Lender at Village Bank, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Flagship Bank Minnesota as a Business Banker & Branch Manager from November 2020 to January 2023, specializing in new business development and relationship management. Tony also served as a Community Business Banker & Branch Manager at MidCountry Bank from January 2019 to November 2020, where they were responsible for driving sales, managing operations, and developing new small business relationships. Before that, they held roles at BCU as a Branch Operations and Business Development Manager, at Bremer Bank as a Market Manager, at Minnesota Business Finance Corporation as a Business Development Officer, at Associated Bank as a Business Development Officer, and at US Bank as a Branch Manager. Throughout their career, Tony has demonstrated expertise in sales, customer service, operations management, and business development within the banking sector.

Tony Sofio attended Gogebic Community College from 1993 to 1995 and earned an Associates degree in Business Administration. Tony then went on to Northern Michigan University from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management.
