Shruti Jain

Shruti is an Investment Associate for the South Asia region at Village Capital. She helps the team develop investment thesis and also evaluates potential companies within VilCap’s sector focus. For South Asia programs, she helps the entrepreneurs with post-program support and helps them become investment ready.

Prior to joining Village Capital, Shruti worked at a boutique investment bank. During her tenure, she worked with the private equity and venture capital advisory team to raise capital for SME's and startups and also overlooked at all the investor facing material. She has also interned with Motilal Oswal Asset Management, during her time there she prepared financial models and competitive analysis with respect to the portfolio companies of the fund.

Shruti is an MBA graduate with specialization in finance from Welingkar Institute of Management India and attended JaiHind college from where she obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree.
