Ben Hamilton

Ben Hamilton is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy and technology sectors. As co-founder and CTO of Village Energy since January 2018, Ben has been instrumental in developing solutions to facilitate the integration of distributed energy resources and accelerating the transition to net zero emissions. Prior to this, Ben held various leadership roles at Horizon Power, including Executive Manager and General Manager, where significant contributions were made to the development of pioneering technology platforms for microgrids and financial management. Ben's diverse career includes roles as CFO at Bass Metals Ltd. and Gull Petroleum, founder of the fintech startup Carbon Account, and managing director at Blue Lava Solutions. With a strong focus on innovation and efficiency, Ben has consistently delivered value across multiple organizations.
