Mirza N. Baig

Mirza N. Baig, M.D. Ph.D., currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at White Rock Medical Center since October 2023 and has held the same position at Spring+Heights Hospital since February 2017. Baig is also the Chairman of NCP Healthcare Management since 2016 and a Board Member at Brighter Horizons Academy College Preparatory-Houston until April 2024. Previously, Baig worked as a Neurosurgeon at HCA Houston Healthcare from 2011 to 2019 and at MercyOne from 2009 to 2011, as well as serving as an Instructor at Des Moines University during that time. The early career includes a Chief Resident role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from 2003 to 2009 and a Doctoral Researcher position at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke from 1998 to 2001. Baig earned a Doctor of Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy from Howard University College of Medicine, along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland.
