Emily Jansen

Emily Jansen possesses extensive experience in fitness instruction and support roles for individuals with disabilities. As a Zumba Instructor at Courtyard 24/7 Fitness and Tanning since May 2015, Emily leads group classes focused on participants' physical well-being and choreography. Concurrently, Emily has served in various capacities at Village Northwest Unlimited since May 2012, including Program Substitute and Community Skills Trainer II, where responsibilities involve running programs and ensuring the safety of individuals with disabilities. Additionally, Emily has held roles in customer service at Fareway Stores, Inc., and worked as a Noon Duty Aid at Vermillion Elementary School. As a Student Ambassador at the University of South Dakota, Emily conducted campus tours for prospective students. Emily holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of South Dakota, complemented by a triple minor in Spanish, ESL, and Reading.
