Matthew S. Dabrowski

Matthew S. Dabrowski currently serves as the Director of Community Development for the Village of Carpentersville since October 2024. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Deputy Director of Community Development for the Village of Glendale Heights from April 2022 to October 2024 and has extensive experience in community development, including roles as Zoning and Economic Development Planner. Matthew's history with the Village of Lakemoor includes positions such as Interim Village Administrator and Director of Community and Economic Development. Additional experience encompasses a role as Development Planner for the Village of Arlington Heights and District Trustee for Northern Moraine WRD. Matthew's educational background includes a Master’s in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University.
