Pawel Zachwieja

Pawel Zachwieja has extensive experience in public safety and security roles, currently serving as a Reserve Police Officer for the Village of Franklin Park since February 2022. In addition to this position, Pawel has been a Maintenance Mechanic and Driver/Security at Covenant Village of Northbrook since August 2012, and an Auxiliary Police Officer for the Village of LaGrange since 2012. Previous roles include a Public Safety/Security Officer at Swedish Covenant Hospital and a Public Safety Cadet and Guard at Oakton Community College from 2006 to 2012, where responsibilities included crime prevention, building inspections, and assisting with emergency evacuations. Pawel also worked as a Loss Prevention Retail Visual Security Officer at Macy's for a brief period in late 2010. Pawel holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Oakton College, obtained in 2009.
