Jason Engberg

Jason Engberg, AICP, currently serves as the Director of Community Development for the Village of Glendale Heights since September 2025. Previously, Jason held the position of Planning Manager for the Village of Tinley Park from July 2023 to August 2025 and worked as a Senior Planner for the United City of Yorkville between August 2016 and June 2023. Additionally, Jason gained experience as an Associate Planner at Teska Associates from July 2013 to July 2016 and contributed as a Planning Intern and Planning Volunteer for the United City of Yorkville and the Village of Montgomery, respectively, in 2012. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
