Kevin Woodside

Kevin Woodside is an experienced public safety professional currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Village of Gurnee since May 2021. As the founder and owner of The Blue Line, an online resource for law enforcement and public safety careers, Kevin has demonstrated a commitment to the field. Previous roles within the Village of Gurnee include Chief of Police, Deputy Police Chief, Police Sergeant/Commander, and Police Officer, spanning over three decades. Kevin began a career in public service as a Community Service Officer in Mount Prospect and has also worked in the food industry. Educational qualifications include participation in the FBI National Academy and the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University, among other institutions.
