Michelle Pilafas is an experienced pastor and community leader with a strong background in music education and the arts. Currently serving as the Groups Assimilation Pastor at Willow Creek Community Church, Michelle engages volunteers and offers spiritual support to congregants, particularly those affected by disabilities. In addition to this role, Michelle holds the position of Group Life Pastor with Hoffman Estates Foundation and has been a trustee for the Village of Hoffman Estates since 1997. As Chairman of the Hoffman Estates Arts Commission, Michelle leads initiatives to enhance local arts programming. Previous experience includes directing choral ensembles at Westmont High School and developing fine arts programs for young children at Players Music and Movement Center. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master's in Choral Conducting from Roosevelt University.
