Michelle Jin

Michelle Jin, PHR, currently serves as the Human Resources Manager for the Village of La Grange since May 2023. Prior to this role, Michelle held the position of Senior Human Resources Generalist at the Village of Northbrook from March 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included managing the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes. From June 2012 to March 2021, Michelle worked as a Human Resources Generalist at the Village of Elk Grove Village, overseeing various employee benefits programs and compliance with ACA reporting requirements. Michelle's early career includes internships at the State Universities Civil Service System and Cummins, Inc., focusing on HR compliance and staffing processes. Michelle holds a Master's degree in Labor and Employment Relations/Human Resources and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and East Asian Language & Culture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
