Cynthia Vandemark

Cynthia VanDeMark is an experienced village planner currently working for the Village of Mokena since April 2025. Prior to this role, Cynthia served as an Associate Project Manager at SAC Wireless from January 2018 to March 2025 and worked as a GIS research assistant at DePaul University from November 2014 to June 2018. Additionally, Cynthia completed an internship in Economic Development and Public Finance at Ehlers from February 2017 to November 2017, assisting municipal advisors with project scopes aimed at finding financial solutions for communities. Cynthia's expertise encompasses creative urban planning processes, including land use analysis, zoning, comprehensive plans, transportation statistics, socio-economic indicators, and mapping, all contributing to the understanding of community goals and objectives. Cynthia holds a degree from DePaul University, obtained in 2018.
