Mitchell Johnson

Mitchell Johnson is an experienced communications and multimedia professional currently serving as the Communications and Multimedia Coordinator for the Village of Niles, IL, since July 2016. With a background in media production and municipal communications, Mitchell also instructs the Marching Knights at Prospect High School Band Boosters and has extensive experience as a freelance accompanist and trumpeter, specializing in musical theater. Previous roles include hosting and producing video content for the City of Des Plaines, working as a music assistant for Township High School District 214, and supporting promotional events at ESPN Chicago. Mitchell holds a B.S. in Media and Cinema Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has been involved in a variety of media and educational roles since 2006.
