John Kramer

John Kramer has a diverse work experience in the financial field. John started their career at Rauch & Company as a Controller, where they were responsible for various aspects of real estate development, management, and leasing projects. John worked at Rauch & Company for a significant period of time, from 1987 to 2012.

After that, John joined Westminster Village as the Director of Financial Services. John held this position from July 2013 to September 2014.

Following their time at Westminster Village, John worked as an Accountant at Progressive Housing from November 2014 to November 2015.

In 2016, John joined the Village of Oak Park. John started as an Accountant in May 2016, and later became the Finance Office Manager in August 2016. In July 2017, they were promoted to the position of Senior Accountant. From December 2017 to April 2018, John served as the Interim Deputy CFO, and eventually became the Deputy Chief Financial Officer in April 2018. John is currently in this role.

Overall, John has more than 30 years of experience in financial management and accounting, with a particular focus on real estate development and public administration.

John Kramer obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Elmhurst University from 1984 to 1989. In addition, they received certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Illinois in February 1987.
