Eric Hanrath

Eric Hanrath is an experienced Firefighter/Paramedic currently serving with the Village of Schaumburg and the Village of Lake Bluff since 2017 and 2014 respectively. With a strong background in emergency response, Eric has effectively managed critical situations involving fire, rescue, and hazardous materials, while providing advanced life support medical interventions. Previous experience includes roles as a Paid-on-Premise Firefighter/Paramedic with the City of Lake Forest Fire Department and Firefighter/Paramedic with Grayslake Fire Department, where responsibilities also encompassed community education on safety and fire prevention. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from Purdue University and multiple certifications in Emergency Medical Technician training, culminating in a Paramedic degree from Vista Health Systems.
