Shawn Green

Shawn Green has an extensive work experience spanning various positions and industries. Shawn began their career in 1998 at the Village of Schaumburg, where they held the roles of Deputy Chief and Patrol Division Commander. In 2018, they joined Coral Township as an Assessor, a position they held until 2021. Additionally, they served as the Board of Education President at Consolidated School District 158 from 2005 to 2010.

Shawn Green has a diverse education history. In 1993, they enrolled at Northern Illinois University and completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminology in 1997. In 2015, they attended the University of Virginia, where they participated in the FBI National Academy and studied Executive Leadership for a year. Later, in 2016, Shawn pursued further education at the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Administrative Leadership in 2017. Additionally, in the same year, they attended Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command, specifically focusing on the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety.
