Sharon Caddigan

Sharon Caddigan is an accomplished municipal leader with extensive experience in planning, economic development, and human resources. Serving as Village Manager and previously as Planning and Human Resources Director for the Village of Streamwood since 2011, Caddigan oversees personnel and community outreach initiatives. Prior roles include Legislative Chair for the American Planning Association - Illinois Chapter and Assistant Community Development Director for the Village of Streamwood, where responsibilities encompassed serving as staff liaison to the Plan Commission and Zoning Board. Caddigan also held the position of Director of Planning and Zoning for the City of Country Club Hills and worked as an Intergovernmental Fellow with the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Political Science from Northern Illinois University and master's and bachelor's degrees from the University of Chicago.
