Matthew Harline

Matthew Harline is an accomplished municipal manager with extensive experience in local government roles. Currently serving as Village Manager for the Village of Villa Park since June 2022, previously held positions including Interim City Manager and Assistant City Manager for the City of Dover, Delaware, where notable achievements included leading the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Other significant roles included City Administrator for the City of Holts Summit, Missouri, where a branch of the Daniel Boone Library was established, and City Administrator for the City of Centralia, Missouri, which involved initiating a Comprehensive Plan update and securing a $50,000 grant for water and wastewater planning. Matthew began a career in public service as the Assistant to the Director of Administration in Fulton, Missouri, before serving as District Coordinator at the Mid-Missouri Solid Waste Management District. Matthew holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis.
