William Silliman has extensive work experience in the technology and information technology field. William first worked at Gateway as a Senior Service Technician from 2000 to 2004, where they managed repair center employees, handled customer service, and conducted repairs and troubleshooting.

After that, they joined vFinance where they held several roles, including Senior Network Administrator from 2004 to 2006, Manager of Information Technology from 2006 to 2008, Director of Technology Services and Development from 2008 to 2009, and Chief Technology Officer from 2009 to 2012. There, they implemented technological solutions for the financial markets and played a crucial role in the merger between National Securities Corp and vFinance Inc.

Currently, William Silliman works at the Village of Wellington as the Chief Information Officer since 2013. In this role, they oversee and manages the Technology Services function within the city, handling personnel, outsourcing contracts, budgeting, IT management, network security, servers/systems, and cross-departmental participation. William is known for their strategic thinking and ability to engineer creative solutions regardless of the technological or economic climate.

William Silliman attended Council Rock High School from 1989 to 1993. William then went on to study at Millersville University of Pennsylvania from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Marine Biology, and Chemistry.
