Timothy J. Scott

Timothy J. Scott, AICP, CNU-A has extensive work experience in economic development, planning, zoning, and urban design. Timothy J. is currently serving as the Director of Economic Development, Planning, Zoning & Urban Design for the Village of West Dundee since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Community & Economic Development for the same organization from June 2015 to January 2022. Before joining the Village of West Dundee, Timothy worked for the Village of Hinsdale. Timothy J. served as the Director of Economic Development & Urban Design from May 2013 to June 2015, Director of Economic Development from October 2010 to May 2013, and Community Development Strategist from October 2005 to September 2010.

Timothy J. Scott, AICP, CNU-A has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Illinois Chicago. Timothy J. also holds a Master of Urban Planning & Policy degree from the same university. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from the DePaul Driehaus College of Business. Timothy attended Loyola Academy for high school. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications such as Accredited Member of the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU-A) from The Congress for the New Urbanism, and American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) from the American Planning Association. Timothy J. also holds a Real Estate Brokerage License from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
