Melissa Hennessy

Melissa Hennessy serves as the General Counsel, Company Secretary, and ESG lead at Village Roadshow Entertainment Group, one of Australia's top entertainment companies, since May 2022. Additionally, Melissa is an Advisory Board Member at Ultra Violette Skincare, a rapidly growing brand in the prestige beauty sector. Previously, Melissa founded Hennessy Legal, focusing on corporate and commercial law, and held significant legal roles, including General Counsel and Company Secretary at Country Road Group, General Counsel at Lendlease, and Senior Legal Counsel at Lend Lease Investment Management. Between 2012 and 2015, Melissa also contributed as Director and Company Secretary of the Lille Fro Foundation, which focuses on educational opportunities for Indigenous communities in Northern India. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Deakin University and studied at the University of Cambridge.
