Lorena Williams

Lorena joined the Village Shalom team as Programs Manager in 2008 and was promoted to Director of Life Enrichment in 2018. Working with seniors is Lorena’s passion and part of her purpose in life. She has spent her entire career in senior living, and is a Certified National Activity Director and Certified Dementia Practitioner.

Lorena is also a certified Pontchartrain Princess who was born-and-raised in good ol’ New Orleans. Faith and family are her top priority and she tries to get back home to visit as often as possible. Lorena is the second youngest of five children. She and her husband, Solomon, have three children of their own – two sons and a daughter – Solomon, Pierre and Kierre.

When she’s not enriching the life of our residents, Lorena can be found line-dancing with her friends, shooting a little pool, watching her Lakers or unwinding with a good romance novel.
