Tim McFarland

Director, Facilities at Village Shalom

Tim joined the Village Shalom team as maintenance manager in 2007 and worked in that position until his promotion to director of facilities in 2014. Tim was a paramedic-firefighter for 20 years and he studied fire sciences, paramedicine and CIS at Pima Community College, the University of Arizona and the University of Phoenix respectively.

Tim is originally from St. Louis, but his family moved to Tucson, Arizona when he was young. That's where Tim met his wife Lisa, and the two are the proud parents of four children – two boys (men) and two girls. In addition to firefighting, Tim also worked in many facets of construction and property management for more than 30 years. In his younger days, Tim enjoyed outdoor activities like river rafting, rock climbing, skiing and sailing. He also raced off-road cars for many years. These days, Tim enjoys bass fishing, spending time with his family and working on the home he built himself in Laycene, Kansas.
