Pranay Tripathi possesses a diverse background in media and human resources, currently serving as a Rural Media Fellow at Village Square since December 2022 and as Human Resources Director at Bhashawala since January 2022. Pranay has extensive experience in journalism, having worked as a Journalist and Trainee Journalist for National Herald since January 2020, and as an Independent Journalist for Dainik Prabhat Kiran since September 2021. Previous roles include Writer/Copywriter at Longway Productions from February 2020 to February 2021 and Filmmaker/Writer/Editor/Documentarian at Talkies Ahead from January 2019 to January 2021. Pranay holds a BSc in Electronic Media from the Educational Multimedia Research Centre of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, obtained between 2016 and 2019.

Village Square
Village Square will focus on impact of national and local policies on rural communities through detailed analyses by top development experts. It will identify and showcase stories of change led by communities, civil society and market players. It will do so by simple themes such as livelihoods, health, education, governance, gender issues and water. Village Square will maintain a sustained focus on the challenges and drivers of successful efforts in the stranded part of rural India.
