Abdul Cassamo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation, and data management within the health sector. Currently serving as the Monitoring and Evaluation Director at VillageReach since 2022, Abdul previously held the position of Director of Strategic Information at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation from December 2018 to March 2022. Prior to this, Abdul worked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from July 2008 to July 2018, where roles included Data Management Advisor, Data Manager, and Computer Management Specialist. Abdul began the career in information technology as an Information Technology Assistant at the US Embassy in Maputo from January 2004 to December 2008. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Medical Informatics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluations from the Institute of Development Management, along with other relevant qualifications in medical informatics and computer science.
