David Jamison

David Jamison, Ph.D., currently serves as the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs and a Teaching Professor in the College of Engineering at Villanova University. Since September 2022, David has contributed to the academic landscape at Villanova after previously working as a Clinical Research Scientist and Technical Writer at Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom. With extensive experience in biomedical engineering, particularly in biomechanics and injury causation, David has held various academic appointments at Villanova University and Drexel University. David's doctoral research focused on the mechanical characterization of the human lumbar intervertebral disc under impact loading conditions, complementing a solid foundation in engineering mechanics from The Johns Hopkins University.
