Demian Katz

Demian Katz is a seasoned library technology professional with extensive experience in the field. Since July 2009, Demian has been serving as the Director of Library Technology at Villanova University, while previously holding the position of Library Technology Development Specialist. Prior to this role, Demian worked as a Programmer/Analyst at JMI Software Consultants from 2005 to 2009, and as a Reference Technical Assistant at the Chester County Library System between 2001 and 2004. Demian holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Demian earned an Associate's degree in General Studies from the Community College of Philadelphia.
