Kara Miller

Kara Miller is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Research Technician and Peer Tutor at Villanova University, where responsibilities include enhancing undergraduate students' comprehension in various biology and chemistry subjects through personalized study strategies and effective appointment management. Additionally, Kara holds the position of Undergraduate Research Assistant at Shirangi Lab, focusing on Drosophila melanogaster neurogenetics and has been recognized with the 2022 NSF Summer Fellowship and the 2023 Villanova Department of Biology Summer Research Fellowship. Previous experience includes roles as an Ice Cream Shop Associate at Ben & George’s Ice Cream and as part of the Pinstripe Patrol with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, where efforts contributed to creating engaging environments for customers and fans.
