Olivier Baas has a diverse work experience in various industries. Olivier is currently the CEO & Founder of Villari, a company that specializes in providing continuous monitoring of fatigue damage in steel structures. Prior to that, they worked as a Researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft and as a Graduate Research Intern at TNO, where they received recognition for their thesis in offshore engineering. Olivier also gained experience in the corporate banking sector as an Intern at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and as a Working Student at Roland Berger. Additionally, they have a background in education, having worked as a Regional Manager at KlasseStudent and as a Technology Education Teacher at Penta College. Olivier's work experience also includes roles as a Working Student at Heerema Marine Contractors and as a Jobper at Mise en Place.
Olivier Baas has a strong educational background in engineering. Olivier completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Offshore & Dredging Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the same university, studying from 2011 to 2015. Olivier Baas also completed their secondary education at Stedelijk Gymnasium Breda from 2004 to 2010, where they followed the Vwo curriculum.
