Catherine Vallières-Roland

Municipal Councilor, Montcalm Saint Sacrement District at Ville de Quebec

Catherine Vallières-Roland holds a master's degree in political science from Laval University. Her studies and her work have notably taken her to Geneva, Paris, and Barcelona. She is fluent in English and Spanish, in addition to French.

Since 2004, Catherine Vallières-Roland has held various positions at the Ministry of International Relations and La Francophonie. She contributed to the development of Québec's relations with countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia-Pacific, as well as with the United States. She has also been given the mandate to promote and ensure the implementation of the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions in the Digital Environment with UNESCO.
