Marie-Josee Asselin

Marie-Josée Asselin holds a master's degree in molecular genetics and a master's degree in public administration from ENAP.

She began her professional career in the medical research sector, then moved to the health and social services network. She is particularly committed to public health, especially with children aged 0-5 and their families.

Since 2016, Marie-Josée Asselin pursued a career at the Ministry of Health and Social Services where she worked as a professional in the Mother-Child Health Department, executive assistant in the office of the Deputy Minister for Seniors, and Caregivers. and Director of Ethics and Quality. As a member of the COVID-19 crisis unit, she was at the center of the management of this historic situation.

She was a member of various boards of directors in the district of Loretteville-Les Châtels and of the district council of Neufchâtel-Ouest in the early 2000s.
