Marie Bastian is a dynamic professional in the fashion and digital innovation sectors, currently serving as Project Lead & Digital Futurist at Villeroy & Boch since April 2023, focusing on driving digital transformation through CGI visualization. As the CEO and Founder of WORLD OF MESH, Marie is dedicated to promoting environmentally sustainable practices in the global fashion apparel industry. Previous experience includes 3D Apparel Design and Digital Transformation Expert roles, contributing to the transition of fashion businesses from 2D to 3D workflows, as well as positions at Adidas and s.Oliver, where Marie implemented innovative design processes and reinforced brand leadership. With a robust academic background consisting of a Master's degree in Fashion Design from the University of Applied Sciences, Trier, and further studies at the University of the Arts London, Marie combines creativity with a commitment to advancing technology in fashion.
