Ananth Aravamudan

Ananth Aravamudan serves as Chief of Programs & Strategy at Villgro since October 2015, where roles have included Chief of Strategy and Sector Lead for Climate Action & Agriculture and Sector Lead for Climate Action. In April 2024, Ananth assumed the position of Director at CARBON DISCLOSURE PROJECT INDIA and became a member of the Engineering for Sustainable Development Committee at ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) in January 2024. Previous experience includes Associate Director and Senior Technical Manager at SELCO Foundation from March 2009 to March 2015, Technical Director at MindTree from 2000 to 2008, Senior Engineer at Lucent from 1997 to 2000, and Software Engineer at Siemens Communication Software from 1994 to 1997. Ananth holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University (1990-1994) and was a Fellow in the Chevening Rolls Royce Science and Innovation Leadership Program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2015.
