Paul Basil

Paul Basil is currently the Director at Villgro, but they have an extensive work history in the industry. Paul was previously the co-founder and Director at Villfarm Agrisolutions Ltd from July 2009 to March 2014. There, they were responsible for visioning, setting up the business model, attracting donor, angel, and seed investors, and hiring a CEO and advisors. Before that, they were the Founder and CEO of Villgro Innovations Foundation from January 2001 to March 2020. In that role, they again was responsible for visioning, setting up the business model, attracting donor and seed investors, and hiring a CEO and advisors.

Paul Basil completed a Bachelor in Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Pallikoodam (formerly Corpus Christi High School). Paul then attended IIFM for their post-graduate studies.
