Audronis Imbrasas

Audronis Imbrasas is an accomplished cultural figure in Lithuania with extensive experience in various roles within the arts sector. Currently serving as a Council Member for the Vilnius City Municipality since April 2015, Imbrasas previously held significant positions, including Advisor to the Minister of Culture and Vice Minister at the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania. Imbrasas has a strong background in festival coordination, having worked as a coordinator for Vilnius Festivals from 2006 to 2016, and as the Director of the Lithuanian Dance Information Centre during the same period. Additional experience includes directing the Arts Printing House and contributing as a dance writer and journalist for notable publications. Imbrasas began a career in the performing arts as a ballet dancer at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. Educational credentials include studies at M.K.Ciurlionis Arts' School and Vilnius University, further supplemented by training at GITI in Moscow.
