Mike Strybos

Mike Strybos has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mike started their career as a sound and lighting electrical responsible at Att&tion in 1998. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a secondary school teacher, specializing in technical subjects such as mathematics, electricity, and chemistry at St Jozef Instituut Schoten.

In 2007, Mike joined Cegelec as an E&I engineer, where they focused on budgeting, design, safety, and project execution. Mike then took on the role of project engineer, responsible for budgeting, design, and safety for power-related projects. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a project engineer and safety engineer, overseeing projects and ensuring safety compliance.

In 2012, Mike served as a career coach at Cegelec, providing guidance and support to employees. Mike also served as a safety supervisor during this time. In 2014, they became a production manager at Cegelec Industry, responsible for operations, HR support, safety, and PR. Mike later took on roles as operations support manager and safety manager.

In 2021, Mike joined Talenco - Innovating Industrial Solutions as a quality manager and project resource manager. Mike focused on optimizing quality, safety, and operational planning. Mike also served as a prevention advisor during this time.

Currently, Mike is working at VINCI Energies Belgium as a production talent and recruitment manager. In this role, they collaborate closely with clients to optimize installations, considering factors such as energy consumption and maintenance costs. Mike provides creative and efficient solutions for more energy-efficient installations.

Mike Strybos has a diverse education history. Mike completed their Master's Degree in Preventie Adiseur Niveau 1 at Prevent Academy from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they studied GPB (pedagogische bekwaamheid) at PCVOA and obtained a GPB degree. Mike also achieved a Master's Degree in Electronics (ICT) from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool from 2001 to 2005. Before that, from 1998 to 2001, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Telecommunication at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool. Additionally, Mike attended GITOK for their high school education in the field of Elektriciteit - Elektronica.

In terms of certifications, Mike obtained their Preventie Adviseur Niveau 1 certificate from Prevent Academy Leuven in September 2017. Mike also holds certifications in Kleine Blusmiddelen and VCA-vol from ECS your safety our skill, obtained in December 2017 and October 2017, respectively. Mike received the Certified Recognition Mentor "Duaal leren: Elektrotechnicus duaal" certification from SYNTRA Vlaanderen in August 2019. Mike also holds a certification in Nijverheidshelper from Vlaamse Kruis, but the completion details are not available. Furthermore, Mike is pursuing a certification in Preventie adviseur niv. 3 from BNT (Bijscholing Nieuwe Technieken), but the completion details are unknown.
