Laxmi Khadka

Laxmi Khadka is an experienced research technician specializing in biological crop protection, currently working at Vineland Research and Innovation Centre since October 2021. Previous roles include Grower Assistant at GoodLeaf Farms, where responsibilities involved crop assessments, environmental data collection, and assisting in research and development projects. Prior experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Guelph involved conducting experiments on spotted wing drosophila, analyzing fruit characteristics, and preparing artificial diets. Earlier work included roles as a Seed Analyst and Research Assistant at CEAPRED. Laxmi holds a Master in Plant Agriculture with a focus on Entomology from the University of Guelph, an MSc in Phytopathology and Entomology from Leibniz Universität Hannover, and a BSc in Plant Protection from HICAST.
