Fernando Ramirez

Fernando Ramirez is a seasoned executive in corporate development and specialty chemicals, currently serving as Vice President at Vinmar International since April 2016, after holding the position of Director of Business Development. Prior to this role, Fernando worked at Brenntag North America Inc. as Director of Business Intelligence for North America from February 2015 to May 2016, and held various leadership roles at Brenntag from January 2003 to August 2014, including Managing Director for Brenntag China, where market entry strategies for the Chinese chemical distribution market were developed. Fernando also served as Chief Financial Officer for Latin America at Holland Chemical International N.V. from October 1991 to December 2002, leading financial teams and implementing risk management strategies post-acquisition. Academic credentials include a degree in Finance and Banking from the National University of San Diego and a degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Costa Rica.
