Quang Tran Hong's work experience includes roles in various organizations and industries.

From 2006 to 2016, they worked as a Lecturer at the Public Health Informatics Department of the Hanoi School of Public Health.

In 2008, they became a Marketing Consultant at Hoa Phat Furniture, where they were responsible for preparing marketing strategies and analyzing market trends.

In 2016, they joined PATH as a Senior Project Officer and later became a Health Information System Manager.

In 2017, they worked as a Global Ambassador at InSTEDD, coordinating and facilitating EPIHACK in Vietnam.

The same year, they also worked as a Consultant on Health Information System and Digital Health at the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

In 2018, they joined the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as an Emergency Management Officer, where they focused on improving data integration and timely review for public health professionals in Vietnam.

Currently, since 2017, they are working at Vinmec Healthcare System, first as a Bio-informatics coordinator and currently as a Clinical Operation Improvement Director.

Quang Tran Hong holds a Master of Health Informatics from the University of Wollongong, which they obtained in 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Public Health at the Hanoi School Of Public Health from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including Epihack - digital innovations to find and report outbreaks faster in 2016, The Smithsonian Entrepreneur Incubator course in 2016, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation in 2015. Quang also participated in Hack for Health in Laos in 2014, focused on developing digital tools for participatory surveillance.
